All you need to do is find the shoes that you like with the length and the width of your foot tracings, then give us a call or send us an e-mail to let us know. We will then confirm the cost with you.
If you are confident to purchase online by using our shopping cart, that would be great. The shopping cart will take you through the whole procedure. Once we have received your order, we will send you a confirmation e-mail with the adjusted total cost (i.e. any discounts/ courier fees). So please do not send us money until you have received an e-mail from us.

Defects
All our shoes are checked on arrival for defects, we do however respect our obligations under the consumers guarantee act and fair trading act in relation to goods. Please return defective product to us, and we will fully refund you or send you another product of the same style or price at your request.

Other reasons
We know it is very important to find the right shoes that fit well when you are dancing. We are happy for you to return shoes to us for size reasons (too big or too small), provided the shoes are in thier original condition (please ensure your feet are clean, and try the shoes on carpet). However, it is your responsibility to pay for the extra shipping fees both to return and for the exchange.
We do not accept returned goods due to a change of mind, or for a different style. So please be careful when you chose your shoes, please ask us for more information if you require. All of our listed prices are the selling prices which include everything, we have no hidden fees or extra costs unless stated. Shipping is an extra $6. We also offer discounts on accessories when purchased at the same time as a pair of shoes.

We can keep our shoes' price down because we deal with the manufacturers directly. Another great asset is our language skills, being able to communicate with the manufacturers in their own language means we have a great relationship with our suppliers.

Yes, sure you can.
Custom orders are available and we work closely with our customers to ensure satisfaction. Custom orders can take between 4-8 weeks for delivery and we usually require a small deposit.
The final cost of the shoes, however, should not change unless there is a significant change in the materials used (eg. Leather instead of satin) so the current cost of the style is a good guide.
Urgent custom shoes are also available but will cost up to $50 more for individual international postage.

All of our shoes are manufactured in dance shoe dedicated factories in China who have developed a reputation for the quality of their dance shoes.

Their shoes are the official shoes for the Dancesports Federation of China. The factory is owned by one of China’s most famous dancers, the shoes are designed by a dancer, for dancers.

Yes, we do. However, Heel protectors are currently only available for English Slim heels and New Slim heels

Our shoes are made from material that requires care for maximum length of use and durability. Please do not wear them outside unless you do not wish to use them to dance anymore since this will wear out the suede sole and make them dirty. Please avoid getting the suede wet, as water may seriously damage the sole.

Dance shoes should be snug but not painful so in most cases it depends how close to a size you are and what the shoes are made from. With our soft leather shoes we actually recommend getting the smallest comfortable size and allowing the shoe to stretch for a perfect fit. In general round to the nearest .5 or 0 number and if in doubt please contact us.

Satin shoes can be gently washed with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
Leather goods need to be maintained by cleaning them with a mild detergent and a soft cloth, then polishing them to protect them from drying.

Occasionally the suede sole will need brushing with a steel wire brush to remove accumulated dust and keep them fluffy. We recommened you keep the shoes in the shoe bag provided and change into them at the dance venue.

Simply follow the instructions on our "Sizing & Heel" page, simply do a foot tracing and measure the length and width of your feet.
If you are still unsure, trace an outline of you feet and give us a call on 04 478 2871. Remember to wear the type of socks you would normally wear for dancing while doing the tracing and to be on a hard surface also.

Unfortunately, if your size isn’t listed then the most likely reason is we do not currently have it in stock. However, we can order it, which will take between 4-8 weeks but will not cost any extra.

Providing the shoes are in good condition (so try them on a clean indoor surface) we welcome our customers exchanging ill fitting shoes for a better size as we want their shopping and dancing experience to be the best it can be. There is nothing wrong with NZ sizes but one of the biggest concerns with buying shoes online is that it can’t be tried on to make sure it fits properly. One of the reasons this happens is not every shoe is made to the same pattern. Measuring the shoes and the feet in cm allows us to counter these problems.

Normally, once we have received your order we prepare the shoes so they are ready to be sent as soon as payment has been confirmed, providing that the shoes are in stock. We courier shoes for $6/pair with a delivery target of 1-2 days to the N.Island & 2-4 days to the S. Island (excl. rural areas & non-physical address). Standard post can be arranged for rural and po box deliveries which is calculated on a case by case basis (about $5-$10) and takes between 3-7 days to arrive.
